Where on the road do you find someone that can change a tire like that? After owning an H1 with run flats and split rims it sounded bullet proof but it ended up being its Achilles heal.
I don't disagree. I wouldn't do it again, but to answer your question. I contacted Conti and they pointed me to a commercial tire shop in Boise and these guys put on a new set (5 tires) last month and it only took them 15 mins (I timed them) they took the tires off,... the rims in about 10 mins to install and air up the new wheel. They look at this video prior to me showing up which made them comfortable in doing the job. But the job isn't for the faint of hearts for sure. Both Buckstop in OR and DBL in Texas now have rims that can withstand 10,000 pounds . If you go that route like you suggested, life will be a lot easier and you will be welcomed at more tire shops.
Quite an unusual location. Usually it’s the Carolina Wrens that nest in odd places-even had one nest in a cement block!
We meet in the Chic fli A in Asheville. I end up buying a GSA 2 years after meeting you. Hope all is well.
Hahaha that’s so cool … that was a long time ago. I still have my bike and love it … I’m out in my new rig … see it on instagram under account “graulos”
@@carmas54 my bike is the same bike you have.
Bless little kittie
You really need a FENDER EXTENDER , stops all the crud messing up your engine .
can it use with single battery?
If the truck is a manual and it is a problem shifting in the first gear whether loaded or unloaded try shifting at a low RPM’s.You don’t have to shift at the high end of RPMs😎
7 speed auto
Interesting setup you got there 👍😃
Hello, I just purchased this jacket looks similar to yours, can you please share how is your experience so far with it. parts.bmwmotorcycle.com/p/BMW__/Jacket-AirShell-For-Men/72845297/JacketAirshellForMen.html
Yeah sure… I love it I still have since the time I did that video. And it’s still going going strong. It’s faded just a little bit but it’s still very visible …. I wore it yesterday… zippers are all intact …. It’s as good as née for being used lol
Wow brought back a whole heap of memories!! I was a falconry instructor at The British School of falconry at Gleneagles...Achterader Scotland.. in 1996.. seeing this old footage at the American School was an instant teleportation!!😀👍
You putting a camper on it like others for a overland vehicle?

Since you can use the tank bag as a back pack, the straps can be used to secure it on your waist.
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts as I’m considering the BMW jacket! 👍
I still have it and use it, you can’t go wrong
WOW, cool car😊🚛💪
Great mod and installation. You found a way to make it work!!! Outstanding! Thanks for the demo!
I'm still using it and it works great
Is it for sale? himdaife@gmail.com
So, buy a $220 tank bag and spend time and money to modify it? Just buy a BMW brand tank bag for the same price!
I like this one better
It's just a big blue hole in the ground. I don't see why people say it's so beautiful? If I want to visit Oregon I would much rather see the coast. But that's just me.
the coast is great I think people say its so beautiful is because the color of the water IMO, thanks
How steep of a drop off are the sides of the road?.
I think it's well over 500 feet
What a waste of time. Where are you showing the movie settings on the camera?
I know this video is from a few years ago, but before I break out my dremel tool to install my new Sena 50S, is there somewhere to purchase a replacement collar if I screw it up?
probably not, sorry for the long time in responding youtube changed the way you see comments
Did you end up buying one?
nope I purchased a 2020 F550 and had it super singled by dbl design.com

Nice...!!!!!.
Certainly won't be in trouble if the bike wont start after your sunday morning breakfast trip

A better, stronger and more secure alternative to the Gear Aid Snap Bar repair buckle is the Sea to Summit Field Repair buckle which uses a metal removable screw to fit the strap loops rather than a flimsy plastic snap together connection. Also.. To secure the dangling straps that are still attached to your motorcycle.. Use the Wolfman X-Strap. The Wolfman X-Strap uses female snap buckle ends on all 4 straps whereas the Mosko Moto yoke is a male buckle end on one side and female on the other side. Therefore.. In order to fit the Wolfman X-Strap you have to remove the female buckle from the Mosko Moto yoke and replace it with the Sea to Summit male buckle end (or remove the Wolfman X-Strap female buckle and replace it with the Sea to Summit male buckle end) which is a further benefit of the Sea to Summit Field repair buckles as they are available in either one or two pin variety to suit your application. Cheers.
Excellent!
Hey I thought that is what I wanted so I ordered it ,now I found your video . Can’t wait for it to get here . Thanks a million .....gosh that seems so little these days
Thanks for sharing this; I'm poised to buy a Nomad but have been - like you, apparently - surprised that I'd have dangling straps when I removed the bag. I'd like to go further and somehow secure the straps up near the tank once you unclip them. Great tip.
Thanks for showing us how to put a tank bag in a top box and close the lid. 😂😂😂
How money price of this eagle?
The Roadrage brand electric beer swivel cooler is a must for rural riding. Also, the Gluteus Maximus vibrating seat cover helps with long extended trips. Also, the Swinger brand LED illuminated bull testicle style swinging brake lights get the attention a safety-oriented rider demands in stop and go traffic. Top it off with FlameFarts by EpicGear. A push button controlled propane burner at the exhaust outlet illuminates the night to establish a dominant aura in navigating city night traffic.
Looks like you have had the tent for 4 years now. What is your long term ownership opinion? I'm thinking about getting one and would appreciate your opinion!
how do you plan on using "the" or "a tent"? This was my first tent and I learned what I like about it and what I didn't like about it too. I need a tent to take with me when I went motorcycle camping. This one weighed 12 pounds with tons of room and great if you're going to be at specific location for several days. But, when you're traveling several hundred miles a day, I wanted something that I could pitch quickly. After a while I realized that I wanted to travel lighter on my bike, so I picked up a Kelty tent that weighs 6 pounds for hot weather camping and then the same year I got a Snugpak Bunker tent that weighed 7-8 pounds because you could put the tent up in the rain without getting the inside wet. The Kelty had a separate rain sheet that you put on separately, which is great if it's not raining. I started noticing that there where specific designs that I like more than others. They're some people that own a tent for every day of the weeks, I didn't want to be that guy. I have since then sold my Redverz tent, not because its not a great tent... (and i sold my Snugpak bunker tent too), but not because they were bad tents but because I now know how I want to use "A" for my own needs. I also like to buy the best and cry once afterwards. Hilleberg tent is the place I would direct you or anybody to. The have been making tents for the longest time, and you can't beat the quality, the are pricey, but it will the last tent you will need. I live in the northeast and it gets cold. The tent that I now have is the Staika, it's a four season tent and weighs less than 8 pounds it can stand blizzards to major winds and rain storms, and can handle the hottest weather too. Picking out a tent is a process. Redverz's solo is a tent that I almost went with until I looked into Hilleberg. I hope this helps. RUclips videos also helped a lot in my decision process. So let me know how you plan on using your/tent, in what climate, motorcycle or car camping weight restriction and budget
@@carmas54 Thank you for your thoughtful response. My main use will be summer camping trips on my motorcycle. I will be traveling every day going to a new site every night. I will be traveling solo most of the time. I live in the Southwest near the mountains. A 4 season tent may be the smart move. During the middle of the summer you can get temp's down in the 30's.
Hmmm. Curious to know what quality you uploaded the vid at. For sample shots as is the case here you need to upload at maximum quality so we can see the quality. I viewed these on a 5K Mac and they all look un-sharp. But this was 4 years ago. Not sure why I am even commenting.... ;-)
The Jacobite I problem you were probably looking at how the canon 300 mm preforms ... strangely enough I was just looking at images I made with that lens, and I can tell you they are really really good, as far as the video quality that was a long time ago, you should consider renting the lens if your interested it will not disappoint... best of luck
do you still have gx85? im interested to buy sir
Matthew Madz no sorry I sold it a long time ago I’m shooting fuji now
So cute
I noticed you Rolex...is that required to wear while using the grip? I usually wear mine also and the grip seems to operate normally. Thanks!
Steven Teener hahaha yes, I wear my Casio watch now that I have the X-T3 :-) it doesn’t require a battery grip to get the maximum features
I would like to see this back work with a bags connection tank ring.
Very Nice felcon
I have loved Nolan helmets for years, but have never gone with a communication device because of the N-com. Thank you for this! (On a related note, every time I almost gave in and bought the N-com, it's been out of stock. Senas are easily available and more affordable!
Jim Colbert in hind sight I probably would have been ok using the glue bracket and not had cut the plastic having said that the sena Nolan combo is still going strong all these years
Great boots, I want a pair.

Hi, can you advise if you used 3/4" or 1" snap bar buckles please?
